Auto kick for high ping?

What good does it do? I get kicked couple of times in a day for high ping when someone else starts to use the connection. It's not fun when you are kickbanned for one minute when you are in the middle of a good fight

does high ping of single player affect the gaming experience of other players? if not then one should not kick themn.
However, if this leads to lag for other players or other instability then I think we should leave it the way it is.

The thing is, not even from Australia, could anyone get stable ping over 500. If someone is having such ping, it is becasue they are downloading something, someone else is downloading something on same network or there is something broken somewhere. So why do people get kicked for getting ping over 500? I'm pretty sure they notice it without kick and propably try to fix it. In situation like kitty (and sometimes me too) it is just someone else in same network doing something and ping just jumps for moment, but still results in kick.
