Situation in Japan
Hi guys,
For the past two weeks, I have been working like crazy reporting on events for newspapers in Switzerland, France and Belgium.
I am back in Tokyo since Tuesday, after a one-week stint to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka.
The situation at the Fukushima nuclear plant is still very serious, and many foreigners around me have already left or are getting ready to do so.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that if you have any questions regarding the events, I will be happy to try to follow up on this thread. I'm not a nuclear expert, but I have spoken to many over the past few days.
No need to state your opposition to nuclear power, we would be on the same side

Re: Situation in Japan
Well I was asked if I could go tomorrow inside the 30km perimeter of the nuclear plant with a TV crew for a report on the people who still live there.
My answer, as you will guess, was "thanks but no thanks".
Your support is very much appreciated. I might actually go online to kill some Jerries over the next few days - at least that will distract me from what is otherwise pretty somber news.
