Hallo Community,

da es ab und an interessanter ist, direkt ein "live-gespräch" zu haben, ist im IRCNETZ von GamessurgeGamesurge ein Channel eingerichtet worden.
Ich denke das ist ein guter weg um näher "dran" zu sein.
Der channel heißt #hslan.de
Das Netzwerk irc.gamesurge.net

Kommt vorbei und schaut mal rein.

Nicht jeder hat einen IRC-Programm zur Hand. Abhilfe schafft der Webchat, mit dem man via Browser in den Hslan-Channel kommt:

Einfach Nickname wählen, warten und "/j #hslan.de" in die untere Zeile tippen.

Update: An die Site-Admins: Auf mibbit.com kann man auch ein Webchat-Widget erstellen, das man auf die Startseite packt. So können leute fix über hslan.de in den IRC-Channel. Vllt wollt ihr den hier raufknallen.

Find ich ne gute Idee - ohne Aufwand einfach drauflos chatten.
Und wenn man keinen Bock mehr hat, einfach Browser schließen - fertig.
Einfache und unkomplizierte Dinge haben das Potential ganz groß zu werden.

I made a little tutorial how to configure Nettalk (tip from Simpson) a tiny IRC client which uses only 14mb memory.

Step 1.
Download the client from - http://www.ntalk.de/nettalk/en/index.php?page=Nettalk6 it supports English, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Hungarian and German.


Step 2:
Install it on your harddrive


Step 3 Configuration:
3a Start Nettalk and open "new server" option



3b Select "set name of the connection" and name it what you want. I named it Hslan as an example so you know it is the IRC channel of hslan.
Type in "IP or server name": irc.eu.gamesurge.net and then click next.



3c Type the nickname you want to use and click next.



3d Type in the "Commands after login": /join #hslan.de and click complete.



Step 4 Enjoy hslan IRC, Nettalk connected to the hslan irc channel



Step 5 Only for people who have or been giving aditional channelrights:
Before the irc server can recognise you, you have to register at gamesurge.

Use the same name for your accountname as your irc nick

After you confirmed the email you can add a line in "Commands after login". Use the accountname and password you created at GameSurge.

Type in the "Commands after login": /authserv AUTH nickname password
