Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. Today we have some very unfortunate news regarding the so-cal "Hollywood Elite" and the fate of an unannounced FH2 map; Ramelle by developer Otolikos.
It is unfortunate that we must announce our latest map this way. Unknown to even our beta testing team, we had planned to release a second map with the 2.26 patch; Ramelle by Otolikos. However due to the recent leak of this map by a member of our staff, we cannot. Paramount Pictures has contacted us with claims of copyright infringement, and has also threatened us with legal action. You can read the scanned letter from them below.
Given the circumstances, there is nothing we can do. We do not give developer applications to lawyers, and therefore, must comply with their demands and completely remove Ramelle from our internal build. This is a disappointing loss for us, for as you can see from the screenshot above, the map was near completion. Thus, Otolikos' map has become the first map to be completely canceled due to an outside source. To all of our fans, we apologize for this, but we thought we would give this map a final goodbye rather than let it die in vain.
