'Allo 'Allo All,

I hope everyone is well 

I was in France this week on some business and I took some time off to visit one of my favourite museums: Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France.

This was my third visit and as enjoyable as ever. I just never seem to be in France when they're running an open day :@(

So here are some of the pics ......















It is mighty impressive to spend time with these things, rather than virtually sitting in them in FH2 :¬D I always try to visit different museums whenever possible, be it air, land or sea.

Hope you enjoy the pictures, I have a load more of them. I just wished I could sit inside some of them. I should be off to the Bovington Tank museum in the next few months, so I'll finally get to come face to face with the mighty 131

You have to go to german tank museum at Munster (near Hamburg) - also very interresting. Sturmtiger etc. ....
Imperial War Museum London is also not bad....

Not had a chance to go to any museums in Germany, but visits are on the cards some time in the future  nor have I been to the Imperial War Museum since I was a kid, I should go again really. So much to fit in ^^

Anyway here are some of the other photos I took at Saumur. They're with a different camera (so they're not a good quality) as my battery on my proper camera ran out    All those pictures of Tigers and Panthers

WTF? Why do most tanks have there MG being removed? If it would have been to local laws of not being able to show usable weapons, then please remove also the gun+gun turret. Stupid laws, argh.

Yep, they could just put replica barrels to them, just to make them look better. Our tanks are missing mg's too in finnish tank museum.
